Become a Guardian Angel
Many rescued labs come to us with extensive medical needs.  Unfortunately, limitations on funding make it impossible to help all the labs with special needs.  Often, shelters and even pet owners face the same dilemma.

Lightening is a 12 year sweetheart who was left along in an apartment after her owner passed away.  She came to TLC with a facial tumor later determined to be cancer.  She has had the lump removed from her face and is doing fine now.   Lightening should have several rechecks and she needs a guardian angel.  Cosmo was no stranger to bad circumstance.  Cosmo's family was taken from him due to a divorce.  Cosmo said good bye to five children and his canine brother Jake and started a new life with Eileen and Mark.  Today, Cosmo is living life to its fullest and wanted to give back to a less fortunate lab.  Cosmos family selected Lightening and Cosmo became Lightening's Guardian Angel.  Thank you Eileen, Mark, and Cosmo!
TLC needs your help so we can save more labs.   With every donation of $25 or more, we'll send you a beautiful crystal guardian angel pin honoring your support.  Contribute $50 and your pet's photo (listed as a guardian angel) will appear along side of the lab you elect to support.   Let your dog become a guardian angel to one less fortunate.  Of course you can elect to support any of our TLC labs.   Below are just a few of TLC's  special needs labs.
Help another TLC Lab with a tax deductible contribution!

Zach found Hobbs, his guardian angel.
Zach came to TLC after a long stay at the Humane Society.  Surrendered to the Humane Society after a foreclosure, Zach didn't stand a chance.   His age was working against him because potential adopters wanted younger dogs.   Several other groups were contacted about Zach but none wanted to take on an older dog.  Enter TLC and a brand new foster home willing to take Zach even though they were new parents of 10 weeks.   Zach is doing good and is a bundle of energy.  No one would guess he was an aging gentleman.    Zach had some medical needs and is very grateful to Hobbs of Chicago, IL for helping with his needs.    TLC viewers might find it interesting that Zach's foster parents were the first angels in the guardian angel program.   They provided support for Lightening (still with her forever home today) and now their foster will benefit from the same program.
